The LED Light Does Not Turn On, What’s Wrong?
There is a small plastic disk underneath the batteries to prevent the light from turning on during shipment. Remove this disk, replace the batteries + side up, and it will work. The clear plastic disk can easily be missed, so look closely under the batteries.
I’ve pulled the plastic disk out and it still will not turn on?
If this is the case, you will have to purchase a new battery. These are called lithium coin cell batteries and can be purchased online or at any dollar store or WalMart/Target for less than $1.
How do I preserve my LED light battery life?
When your LED light is not in use, flip your batteries the other way around to preserve the battery life.
How many applications are in the kit?
There is enough gel in your kit to last 10-14 consecutive days.

What causes tooth discoloration?
There are many causes of tooth discoloration. Some of the most common include aging and heavily pigmented food and beverages. More serious causes are excessive fluoride or tetracycline (antibiotic) consumption.
How does teeth whitening work?
The active ingredient in the teeth whitening gel is carbamide peroxide. The peroxide enters the tooth and safely removes stains by whitening the enamel and dentin.
Who may benefit from tooth whitening?
Almost everyone. However, there are some cases where treatment may not be effective. Tetracycline (antibiotic) discolorations are usually not greatly responsive to dental whitening.
Are there any side effects to whitening your teeth?
The most common side effects from tooth whitening are tooth sensitivity and gum irritation. These symptoms are temporary and should disappear after the whitening treatment. The sensitivity and gum irritation from teeth whitening is very rare. Make sure when doing your whitening treatments that the gel is not touching your gums. We recommend taking a Q-tip with Vitamin E Oil on it and running it across the trays (gum line) and getting off any excess gel before inserting your LED light. If you have sensitivity, use mild toothpastes (such as Sensodyne) and soft bristled toothbrushes to reduce the sensitivity issue. Also, reduce the amount of time you whiten to avoid sensitivity issues.
Does teeth whitening cause sensitivity?
Tooth sensitivity is extremely rare. Because we only recommend keeping the trays in your mouth for 15-30 minutes, there should be no sensitivity issues. Mild tissue (gum) irritation (that tingling or stinging sensation) may occur during the whitening process. This usually only occurs during the procedure and subsides completely shortly after finishing your treatment. Blanching (whitening of the gums) occurs occasionally, but the gums return to their normal color usually within 15-30 minutes.

Will teeth whitening work on crowns, veneers, and other artificial dental work?
You can expect non-natural teeth to lighten up to their original color if they have been stained. People forget that their teeth are "live" organisms and porous, so they absorb staining agents. Whitening of the natural teeth removes stains that occur over time.
What is the percentage of carbamide peroxide and what are the ingredients in the gel?
36% carbamide peroxide (the strongest over the counter formula sold) that is still safe to use on the teeth. Ingredients are carbamide peroxide, glycerin, water and potassium nitrate. This product is also enamel safe and FDA regulated to insure your safety.
How long do I have to wear the trays at a time?
We recommend 15-30 minutes depending on your sensitivity level. Start with 15 minutes and if comfortable, continue for the 30 minutes. Use once a day for 10-14 consecutive days. Do not exceed 30 minute applications.
Where do I store my mouth trays and LED light when not in use?
Make sure that you are cleaning your mouth trays and drying them completely when finished with your whitening session. Make sure that your LED light is only wiped clean, no water put on the light when finished with your whitening session. The two items should be stored separately, making sure that your LED light is stored in a dry place.
How long do results last?
Depending on each person’s lifestyle and eating habits, the longevity of the results lasting will vary. Depending on a person’s consumption of coffee, tea, red wine, colas, and other darkening agents such as tobacco, most people could probably use another whitening session 6 months later. Typically speaking you should see results last 6 months to a year if you brush your teeth twice a day and have routine dental cleanings. If someone has non-porous enamel, results will last longer. Those who have porous enamel will be more vulnerable to staining beverages and food. These 2 factors will determine how long results will last.
Is the kit reusable by simply purchasing more gel or does it require an entirely new kit to use it for a 2nd go-round?
The kit can be used over and over for multiple times. All you ever have to do is purchase more gel refills.
How do I store the teeth whitening kits?
Carbamide peroxide pens and syringes should NOT be stored in refrigeration. They will crystalize and sometimes that will make the syringe or pen clog. Make sure to store in a cool room with no humidity or water access.
Will this product do any damage to fillings?
This product is FDA compliant and safe to use on all types of surfaces of teeth! Our product will not cause any harm or damage and is Enamel Safe!
What are the small white spots left on my teeth after whitening?
The white spots are minor hypo-calcification spots. During the teeth whitening process, the chemical reaction of the peroxide breaking down generates some slight heat inside the tooth, and this heat causes the pulp and dentin to expand. This expansion pushes water out of the tooth. The final result of this may be that the teeth lose water or dehydrate and appear whiter temporarily, usually for around 72 hours. After that they begin to recover and absorb water from the saliva and regain some of their color. This is what we refer to as “dehydration of the teeth”. Some of the whitening that you see is most likely initial dehydration, not actual bleaching. How much of it is bleaching and how much is dehydration is impossible to know ahead of time.
